UNC Basketball Recruiting: Hubert Davis active at Peach Jam
Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball recruiting team were very active at this week’s Peach Jam event. Which players were they focusing on?
Like most college coaches across the country, Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball recruiting team spent the week in Augusta, South Carolina.
As Nike’s EYBL Peach Jam featured some of the top high school prospects from across the country, this event served as a great opportunity for the Tar Heels coaching staff to identify players who they believe fit what the program is looking for.
Now, you’re probably wondering (if you haven’t read some of our articles over the last few days!) who Davis and his staff were keeping a close eye on over the past week. Courtesy of On3’s Jamie Shaw, here’s a breakdown of the players (with On3’s star ratings) the Tar Heels spent time watching.

With just Wilcher committed to the Class of 2023, it’s expected that the Tar Heels are far from done with this upcoming recruiting class. However, the North Carolina coaching staff is not shying away from looking ahead at potential prospects who could be a future fit for the UNC basketball program.
