Seth Trimble means much more to the UNC basketball program than the production he provides on the court.

In fact, Trimble has been a staple of the program throughout his four-year career, something extremely uncommon in today's college athletics. During an era where players are quick to pick up and bolt when the going gets tough, Trimble's love for North Carolina never faded, as his heart has (and always will be) in Chapel Hill.

If you want a good sense of who a student-athlete is, just ask his teammates. That's exactly what Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster did when junior big man Henri Veesaar joined the Field of 68 Podcast as a guest.

Veesaar's response goes to show just how much he, and his teammates, love their senior captain.

Henri Veesaar sings extremely high praise of Seth Trimble

Veesaar was quick to point out Trimble's iconic game-winning shot against rival Duke, one that the junior big man said couldn't have gone to a better person.

" I feel like he is the most rewarding guy ever. We talked about it after the Duke game. There's no better guy to get that last shot; he deserves it," Veesaar said. He's a four-year player in this new era, being at the same school. He's built so much blood, sweat, and tears into this program. His hard work every day, him being able to get that shot, I was so happy for him."

Veesaar's praise continued, as he made it know how Trimble has stepped his game up even more during Caleb Wilson's absence from the lineup.

"I feel like now that Caleb (Wilson) has been out, like he's definitely been more of the go-to guy and he has had a lot more opportunities," Veesaar added. "He flipped the switch in the second half of the Syracuse game, and that kind of just carried over because he started being more aggressive, getting downhill, and that carried over to the next game."

Seth Trimble's latest big game just thrust him into elite ACC company

Trimble has been an impactful person for Veesaar even before he committed to North Carolina. Helping Hubert Davis recruit the big man the Tar Heels desperately needed, Trimble helped make UNC's recruiting pitch one that Veesaar couldn't pass up, a decision that has paid off tremendously for both sides.

Having been around him for now nearly a full season, Veesaar knows what Trimble provides to the UNC basketball program, both on and off the court. He is well-aware of how Trimble has the potential to take this year's team to greater heights.

"Everybody knows he had 30 points (against Louisville), but just seeing the way he played and the aggression, and he did it on both sides of the court. Not just offensively, but also defensively. He is a monster. Him being able to do that elevates us as a team to a different level."
