Vince Carter is tired of Jay Williams' nonsense!
Williams sparked controversy with his claim that UNC is no longer a "Blue Blood," a claim that seasoned incredibly well with Duke's choke job performance in the Elite Eight.
The comments didn't sit well with former Tar Heel and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Vince Carter, who took to his podcast to address the comments.

On his podcast, Cousins with Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, Carter sounded off on Williams' comments, calling him out for his incredibly dumb take regarding UNC's Blue Blood status.
"I just wanna touch on one thing: hearing Jay Will(iams) go on whatever, talking about Carolina not being a blue blood bro. You done lost your damn mind," Carter said. "Don't think because of this, 'cause of that, we'll (UNC) always be a blue blood bro.
Every time we have the Duke-Carolina rivalry, he's (Jay Williams) there. He picked us one year, this year, as a matter of fact, to win at home. Come on now. Like I get it, we're down. But to say we're completely not a Blue Blood is just, man."
Of course, McGrady tried to stir the pot a bit, citing how UNC is still searching for a new head coach while also mentioning the "internal fighting" that is going on, most notably with the whole Rashad McCants beef with Raymond Felton and Theo Pinson. Carter was quick to deny McGrady's claims of internal issues, citing that "families argue."
Well said, VC.
Jay Williams should focus more on his Blue Devils, the program that continues to do less with more. Sure, North Carolina is working on getting back to typical Tar Heel form, but Duke should really take a look in the mirror and ask themselves, "how do we continue to choke in the NCAA Tournament while bringing in multiple five-star talents per recruiting cycle?"
Seems like they should focus on what's going on in Durham instead of allowing Chapel Hill to live rent free in their heads.
