In the blink of an eye, there are only three more regular season games on the schedule for the North Carolina Tar Heels. How in the world did time fly by so fast? That's also something standout guard Seth Trimble must have on his mind too.

Insider confirms UNC's best case scenario for Caleb Wilson's potential return

Trimble signed with North Carolina as a member of the 2022 class, and he's getting ready to say goodbye to Chapel Hill soon. Following Saturday's home contest against Virginia Tech, the Tar Heels will host Clemson next Tuesday as part of the Senior Night festivities.

It will mark the last game inside of the Smith Center for Trimble, which will of course be emotional for him and his family. The stands are going to be packed, but in some good news for everyone who won't be able to make it to campus, this game is going to be broadcast to a national audience on ESPN. This means UNC supporters across the country will be able to watch him put on a show against the Tigers:

Seth Trimble will go down as a North Carolina basketball great

In today's college basketball world, often we see players leave every year to join a new program. That wasn't the case with Trimble, which has been refreshing to see. He had to wait his turn to take some of the spotlight for UNC, but that patience has paid off.

We of course have to bring up the game-winner against Duke. Come on, nothing is going to be topped there for Trimble from an individual standpoint. After the Heels posted a remarkable comeback, he got the ball with time winding down and he fired off a shot that was destined to go in. Need a reminder? Sure you do:

Goodness, that shot was only made better by the brilliant ESPN call of the swish. Before we get too emotional, there's still plenty of basketball to be played for Trimble donning Carolina blue. After the last two home games, a date in Durham on March 7 will arrive vs. Duke.

Then, the focus will shift to the ACC Tournament, with the Big Dance right after. When fully healthy, UNC can compete with any team in the country and the good news is that Caleb Wilson is expected to be good to go for March Madness. He'll be needed for UNC to go on a deep run and to help send Trimble out the right way.
