The opponent and the schedule for the Super Regionals in Chapel Hill this weekend are officially set!

Chapel Hill Super Regional game dates and times have been revealed

Now that the Super Regional fields are set, the NCAA revealed the dates and times for each matchup. Scott Forbes and the UNC baseball program found out their opponent on Monday night, as USC defeated host Texas A&M to clinch a date with the Diamond Heels in the Super Regionals.

The Tar Heels and Trojans will kick-off a best of three series at Boshamer Stadium on Friday afternoon. First pitch for the opener is scheduled for 3:00 PM, while Saturday's contest is set to begin an hour earlier (2:00 PM EST).

If a decisive game three is needed, the time will be announced at a later date.

Tar Heel fans might not like the 3:00 PM EST time start on Friday, given that some have work obligations to take care of. Nonetheless, Tar Heel faithful will find a way to get to the Bosh on time to support the boys in Carolina Blue as they look to clinch their ticket to Omaha this weekend.

Five Tar Heels earn spots on the Chapel Hill Regional All-Tournament team

The good news is that the television schedule pins the Diamond Heels on regular broadcast networks for both games this weekend. During the Chapel Hill Regional, fans were stuck trying to find ways to tune in, given that two of the games were broadcasted on ESPN+, an additional streaming service. Game one of this series will be on ESPN2, while the second meeting will be broadcast on ESPN.

This is what the Diamond Heels have worked all season long for, and now they are just two wins away from making the sacred trip to Omaha. USC won't back down without a fight, as evidenced by their efforts in the College Station Region, one where they knocked off the host team, Texas A&M.

Fans in attendance at Boshamer Stadium this weekend are in for some more exciting action featuring two of the best teams college baseball has to offer.
