That all changes on Friday night, as the No. 4 pick of the Chicago Bulls will be making his Summer League debut against Cameron Boozer and the Memphis Grizzlies. Get your popcorn ready.
Why Caleb Wilson's Summer League debut will mean the absolute world to him

Caleb Wilson can't wait to make his NBA Summer League debut with the Bulls
As soon as the opening whistle sounds, the rivalry will be renewed between Wilson and Boozer. It's a respectful one, of course, as Wilson loves the Tar Heels more than most, and the same could be said about how Boozer feels about his Blue Devils. Despite the two never playing in an NBA regular-season game, people are excited about their futures in the pros.
As for the Carolina faithful, they don't need any extra reason to support Wilson, who has meant so much to the community as a whole over the past year. From the moment he was taken off the board by Chicago, people all over town were ready to buy his Bulls jersey. That's only going to continue leading up to his official NBA debut later this year.
Wilson was downright electric for North Carolina, averaging nearly 20 points per game. Unfortunately for him, multiple injuries cut his season short. Back on Feb. 10, he suffered a hand injury against Miami, which was supposed to sideline him only until the end of the regular season. Wilson worked overtime to get himself ready for a battle with Duke in Durham.
Unfortunately, he broke his thumb in practice on a freak injury, ending his campaign. It was heartbreaking for Wilson, who was ready to light up the stage at the NCAA Tournament. Instead, the world was robbed of seeing him in action for March Madness. With him not playing in a serious game since, it's a no-brainer why this Summer League dance against Memphis will mean so much to him.
It will also mark his first taste of pro action, which will only make things sweeter. Boozer is going to be fired up to make some noise too, going up against Wilson. It will be fun for NBA/college fans as a whole to tune into this one.
