Caleb Wilson just always seems to say the right things.
For NBA teams who are evaluating players to select in the upcoming draft, Wilson has to be a guy who is near (or at) the top of the wish list for teams picking in the top five.
Heck, teams who are in the lottery could very much be falling in love with a guy like Wilson and could try to move up to get him.
During his role as a Player Correspondent for the first game of the 2026 NBA Finals, Wilson had plenty of time in front of a microphone. While a lot of his time was spent interviewing current players, he did have some opportunities to answer some questions from the media, and one response should have this Eastern Conference squad wanting to run to the podium if he falls to them in this year's draft class.
Caleb Wilson's pitch to the Bulls is one that's impossible to ignore
Wilson, an Atlanta, Georgia native, was asked by Iman Shumpert about the possibility of playing for the Chicago Bulls. The question was posed, given Wilson's heavy connection to the franchise in most NBA mock drafts.
His answer couldn't have been any better.

“I’m a winner, I’m going to change that culture and bring it back to what it was for sure," Wilson said. "It’s a great pipeline; North Carolina to Chicago."
Wilson is very confident in himself and knows what he brings to the table. He is a franchise-altering type of player, one who not only is a tremendous asset on the basketball court but is also a culture changer in the most positive way.
We saw it this season at North Carolina. A historic program already in its own right, it takes a special individual to make the type of impact that Caleb Wilson did in a single year.
Oh, and Wilson also would love to follow that Chapel Hill to Chicago pipeline, one that the "GOAT," Michael Jordan, created during his playing days.
A UNC basketball legend linked up with Caleb Wilson and fans will absolutely love it
Wilson just has that "it" factor. The young man isn't afraid to showcase his confidence while speaking, and even when he makes bold claims, he has proven time and time again that he is a man of his word and can back them.
While it's very possible that he could be among the first three players in this year's draft class, you'd have to think that a franchise like Chicago, one with a rich history that looks to get back to its winning ways, would be running up to the podium to hand their pick in to the commissioner if Wilson did fall to them at No. 4, as the pairing seems to be one that makes a ton of sense for both sides.
