With the NBA Finals beginning this week, Caleb Wilson is being put to work!
The now former Tar Heel is one of four young NBA talents, both present and future, who will serve as Player Correspondents for the NBA Finals. While Wilson, along with AJ Dybantsa, Jeremiah Fears, Kon Kneuppel, and Derik Queen, will give fans a sneak peek into his life, he will also be tasked with interviewing current players and coaches.
Wilson is already on site in San Antonio, Texas, as he's going to be serving as the Player Correspondents for the opening game on Wednesday night. While asking questions to the current stars of the NBA is cool, this legendary UNC meet up is definitely the best thing youll see from Wilson this week!
Caleb Wilson shares an iconic photo with another UNC basketball legend
You never know who you'll run into, especially during NBA Finals week, as Wilson showcased just that by sharing a photo with another UNC basketball legend.
Wilson had the opportunity to meet James "Big Game" Worthy, a Naismith Hall of Famer and one of the select people who have the honor of having their jersey number officially retired at the University of North Carolina.
In the near future, Wilson's No. 8 will join Worthy's No. 52 in the Dean Smith Center rafters, as he became the latest Tar Heel to earn an accolade that served as a requirement for having his jersey honored at North Carolina.
This photo is simply epic, one that features two of the best we've ever seen wear the Carolina Blue uniform.

While his time at North Carolina only lasted one season, Wilson fully embraces what it means to be a Tar Heel. It's cool to see him appreciating UNC basketball history, as this isn't the first time that he's shared a photo with some of the greats that also played for the historic program.
Wilson is set to embark on his own NBA journey, one that we all hope ends up being the start of a long, successful career. These types of moments between Tar Heels of different eras goes to show how deep the Carolina family goes, and who knows, maybe one day a future UNC basketball player will share a similiar photo with Wilson, noting just how much of an icon he is for the program just like Wilson did for Worthy.
