The NBA Draft Combine is in the books, which now provides more clarity as to where prospects may end up being projected to land.

Of course, there will be plenty of variations in mock drafts leading up to actual draft day, but it's still very interesting to see where most view the top prospects ending up.

North Carolina has two prospects whose futures fans are anxious to see play out. Caleb Wilson's name is expected to be called within the first five picks, while fellow big man Henri Veesaar's actual draft value remains to be seen.

If this particular mock draft plays out the way it is, it would be a huge win for both players as they begin their NBA careers.

Post-Combine NBA Mock Draft is gold for UNC's dynamic duo

Mark Giannotto of USA Today revealed his post-combine NBA mock draft, one that features both former Tar Heels being selected in the first round.

Giannotto agrees with the current consensus that Wilson is destined to land in Chicago, as he projects him being selected with the No. 4 overall pick by the Bulls organization. Wilson himself has sparked those rumors with some of his latest statements, as many Tar Heel fans wouldn't be opposed to seeing him end up in the same spot where fellow former Tar Heel Michael Jordan played the majority of his NBA career.

For Veesaar, Giannotto has him pairing up with another international star: Luka Doncic. In his latest mock draft, Giannoto projects that the Los Angeles Lakers will select the former Tar Heel with the No. 25 overall pick, which makes a ton of sense given how the franchise has been searching for a big man they could build around for years to come.

While LeBron James' future in Los Angeles is in doubt, Veesaar would be paired with one of the sport's top players in Doncic. The two international players working in the pick-and-roll game would be a thing of beauty, as Veesaar's skillset seems to match perfectly with what Doncic (and Austin Reeves if he remains in Los Angeles) are looking to do with the basketball in their hands.

For Wilson, it's simply a matter of when his name will be called. In Veesaar's case, it's a matter of whether or not he will end up being a first rounder, as he's passing up a lot of money to return to North Carolina in order to take this next step in his basketball career.

It's safe to say that both players would be extremely happy if the draft board fell the way Giannotto projects it to in his latest mock draft.
