Every time Caleb Wilson steps on the floor, something spectacular seems to happen. At this point, there's simply no athlete who has become more of a must-see attraction than the former Tar Heel superstar.
You know someone is insanely good at their sport when people are tuning in every time they compete, even when it's in an NBA Summer League action. In fact, there's a lot of people who don't want to just see him on television: they need to see him compete live.
Kevin Garnett, a Naismith Hall of Famer whom many compare Wilson's game to, has been intrigued by the former Tar Heel, enough to make him attend the Chicago Bulls' summer league game against the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas.
As he has done throughout the summer league, Wilson put on a show, earning an epic nickname from KG in the process.
Kevin Garnett's nickname for Caleb Wilson is simply epic
Garnett confirmed to Chuck Swirsky, the Bulls radio play-by-play guy, that he attended the game to see Wilson, being well-aware of the comparisons between the two.
In fact, Garnett has dubbed him the "Little Ticket," which goes to show that KG sees a lot of himself in one of the future stars of the NBA.

While the nickname is fitting now, Wilson simply might grow out of it by the time his NBA career comes to a close. We can worry about that later, but for now, it's so cool to see a true basketball legend showing love to the younger generation, appreciating how someone like Wilson plays the game and competes as the guys did during Garnett's era.
Caleb Wilson showcasing to Chicago what UNC already knew about his amazing mindset
Wilson finished the game with 21 points, eight rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block. While he had some highlight-reel plays, the most notable was, to no surprise, a massive dunk.

The Bulls know they have a future superstar on their hands and certainly hope that Wilson can string together a long, successful career like the "Big Ticket" did. Of course, it's hard not to get carried away, given that Wilson hasn't even played in a real NBA game yet, but it's difficult to hide the hype and anticipation surrounding him as he embarks on his rookie season in the league in just a few short months.
Based on his production at both UNC and in summer league action, the proof is in the pudding: the eye test doesn't lie when it comes to showing just how good Wilson is at the sport of basketball.
Caleb Wilson already hushed his biggest NBA doubt that he couldn't while at UNC
Moving forward, if you're going to call Caleb Wilson by a nickname, please refer to him as the "Little Ticket." If Kevin Garnett sees the comparisons, so should we, appreciating how much KG respects Wilson's overall game and the way he carries himself both on and off the court.
