Soon enough, it feels like North Carolina and Hubert Davis are going to provide us all with the news everyone is waiting for. That'd be that Caleb Wilson is back to full health and he's been cleared to return to the practice floor.
Seth Trimble is getting the UNC goodbye he deserves for Senior Night
Wilson injured himself in the loss to Miami earlier this month, suffering a fracture in his left hand. However, he's been adamant that he's going to return for the Heels sooner rather than later, with him clearly sitting on pins and needles to do so.
During his radio show, Davis revealed that Wilson is going to undergo further testing and it will provide UNC with a better idea of when his standout will suit up once again. Well, the 5-star true frosh took to Instagram twice on Thursday, with some UNC fans convinced Wilson has received some good news and that he'll be back in action before we know it.

Will he make it back on March 7 for Round 2 against Duke?

Caleb Wilson is hoping to get back on the floor for North Carolina ASAP
In the photo above, Wilson appears to have just gone through a workout and the three smiley face emojis indeed hints that positive steps are being taken in his recovery. On top of that, he also posted earlier in the day a photo from the iconic 'Black Panther' movie, referencing the, "As you can see, I'm not dead" line.
Was that another hint from Wilson that he received good news from team doctors and his stay on the bench will come to an end soon? We don't want to speculate on things and assume there's a return date set, but Wilson is eyeing March 7 against Duke.
UNC fans would love nothing more than to see him suit up against the Blue Devils, but only if he's close to 100 percent and he's not going to risk himself suffering any kind of a setback. That'd of course be the worst-case scenario.
The best-case scenario, however, would be that Wilson's injured left hand doesn't give him any issues after he returns, resulting in him helping UNC go on a deep run in the ACC Tournament and Big Dance. Again, we're not going to assume anything, but Wilson's clues on social media sure are hard to ignore.
