The UNC basketball recruiting team has been very active with regards to the Class of 2023, as they are “making a push” for a four-star center.

First, it was T.J. Power who received an offer from the UNC basketball recruiting team. Later on in the day, the Tar Heels followed it up by offering fellow four-star Zayden High.

Could Isaiah Miranda be next?

Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels have been very active on the Class of 2023 recruiting trail this week, as they’ve already extended two offers within a span of 24 hours. Based on the latest recruiting updates, we may not have to wait long for Miranda to receive an offer of his own.

Miranda recently spoke to Joe Tipton of On3, and went into detail about the state of his current recruitment process. When asked which schools were recruiting him the hardest, the Southern California Academy native stated that North Carolina was one of the schools that “have been making a push lately.”

Not only did the 7-foot big man note that he’s working on setting up a date to visit Chapel Hill, but went on to say that he has three schools in his “dream school” category: Oregon, UCLA, and yes, North Carolina.

The Castaic, California native is ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 26 overall prospect in the Class of 2023. He currently ranks as the No. 8 prospect out of his home state.

With his size and skillset, Miranda has the ability to play both the power forward and center positions, something that college programs across the country are certainly looking for.

For the UNC basketball program, the recent attention has surrounded the Class of 2023, as Davis and his staff look to add players who fit their system.

Based on his quotes, Isaiah Miranda is a player that Tar Heels fans should keep an eye out for as the recruiting trail continues to heat up.
