The UNC basketball program was well-represented at a Washington Wizards pre-draft workout, as a few notable Tar Heels watched Brady Manek in action.

Brady Manek has been a busy man as the NBA Draft quickly approaches.

The former UNC basketball standout has been working out for various teams, including the New Orleans Pelicans and the Atlanta Hawks. His most recent outing came on Friday, as he was invited to participate in a workout with the Washington Wizards.

Manek was not the only Tar Heel in the building, as the UNC basketball program was well-represented at the workout session.

Head coach Hubert Davis, Director of Recruiting Pat Sullivan, and former Tar Heel great Antwan Jamison were all on hand to watch Manek put his skills on display. The trio of Tar Heels got the chance to see Manek show off the unique skill set that made him such an impactful player on the team that ended up in last season’s national championship game.

The “Carolina Family” runs deep, as this is just another example of how members of the community always support one another. Davis is making every effort to support his future, current, and even past players, as this week was a prime indication of that.

After spending the early part of the week in Mexico supporting future Tar Heels Seth Trimble and G.G. Jackson, Davis found his way to Washington’s workout to be there for Manek. It’s situations like these that show just how special the connection is within the UNC basketball program.
