It's laughable at this point.
From the moment he got hired by NC State, Will Wade didn't hesitate in throwing shade from Raleigh to Chapel Hill. Remember him calling out UNC and Hubert Davis multiple times over Ven-Allen Lubin's playing time? After NC State took down the Heels, Wade even allowed his players to get away with a bunch of smack talk despite Caleb Wilson and Henri Veesaar being injured.

Now, Wade is leaving the ACC before he could even finish decorating his new house. In some breaking news, it was reported by Joe Tipton on Thursday morning that Wade will return to LSU, with the Tigers set to part ways with Matt McMahon. Sorry, but this is a weak move from Wade and Wolfpack fans have got to be livid right now (not that we care too much about that). Him being a total clown is something the UNC faithful isn't stunned by either.

Will Wade showing his true colors by bailing on NC State for the LSU job
It wasn't long ago that Wade, who was previously fired by the Tigers mind you, shot down rumors by saying he was all-in on NC State and that this wasn't going to be a one-year fix to get the Wolfpack back to where they need to be.
Fast forward to present time and the Tigers were able to swoop in and make him realize that if he wants to compete for titles, he needs to make a return to Baton Rouge. This also comes after Wade previously said this was going to be the 'worst year' for NC State under him. Turns out, he was right, as he's already gone. Give us a break.
"We'll be fine," he said. "I wouldn't worry about us. We'll be hell next year. This will be the worst team we have at NC State right here. You just watched it. This is the floor of our program, and we will be much better moving forward. We know what's got to get fixed. I've got a very clear mind on what we need and how we need to go about attacking and doing it. That's what we're going to do. As soon as the plane hits the ground tomorrow in Raleigh, we're going to work. There's no vacation, there's no time off. We're getting to work and we're going to get this thing turned around."
Knowing Wade, he's probably going to boast about going undefeated against the Tar Heels during his time in the conference. He can try and spin it as much as he wants, but this is a bad look for him and it leaves McMahon out on the street. This guy ended up being all talk, which we should have seen coming from a mile away.
