The UNC football program has just earned an opportunity to potentially add a huge offensive weapon to their lineup for the 2025-26 season.

Former Penn State wide receiver Harrison Wallace III will reportedly visit North Carolina as one of his first stops after entering the transfer portal last week. The redshirt junior led the Nittany Lions in receptions (46) and receiving yards (720) in 2024 and is one of four wide receivers to enter the portal after Penn State's 27-24 loss to Notre Dame in the college football playoff semifinals.

Wallace will also reportedly be visiting ACC rival Louisville and SEC powerhouses Texas A&M and South Carolina.

The addition of Wallace to Bill Belichick's first roster in Chapel Hill would ensure that the Tar Heels offense has the experience and skill to compete with anyone in the country. Belichick has already picked up some impactful receivers in the transfer portal this offseason, including former Washington receiver Jason Robinson and former Michigan State receiver Aziah Johnson.

The new additions will also join North Carolina senior wide receiver Kobe Paysour, who decided to return to Chapel Hill for his senior season. Paysour will be North Carolina's longest-tenured wide receiver next season, coming off a solid junior year where he went for 365 yards on 21 receptions throughout eleven games.
