The objective remains the same
Keep stacking wins.
UNC hosts Clemson for the final home game of the 2025-2026 regular season
Each week when the AP Top 25 poll is revealed, whether the Tar Heels move up, down or stand pat, the objective never changes.
All North Carolina has to do is continue winning games, and the rest will take care of itself.
Clemson and Duke will be strong tests for the Tar Heels as they wrap up the regular season, and a pair of wins will have them jumping up next week's rankings. In the end, all that matters is the wins you collect, something that is at the forefront of everything the Tar Heels are looking to accomplish.
Sure, everyone wants a high ranking, but that means nothing when that final team standing is hoisting a trophy on the final day of the college basketball season.
