The No. 6-ranked prospect in the Class of 2026 is focusing on a "Final Four" as his recruitment draws closer to the finish line. After an official visit to North Carolina, the UNC basketball program found their way onto the list of finalists.

Who will North Carolina have to compete with?

There's really no major surprises with regard to Mingo's list of finalists. Baylor, who has been heavily pursuing Mingo for quite some time, Penn State, the school where his older brother currently plays for, and Washington, another consistent contender, have all been involved heavily throughout the process.

North Carolina rolled out the red carpet when Mingo visited Chapel Hill, but it's been a major question as to whether or not it will be enough to convince Mingo that the UNC basketball program is the best fit for him.

If you're looking for a "front runner," it may be difficult to find one. Penn State and Baylor have made strong efforts in this recruitment, and the family factor might just be enough to entice Mingo to the Nittany Lions. You can't discard Washington either, as all four finalists have been heavy players in this recruitment for quite some time.
