A lot of people get excited for Halloween. Whether you're going trick or treating or simply love to dress up and attend parties (especially on a college campus), this is typically a day that stands out among the rest.
The same could be said this year for Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program, as one of the high-rising prospects from the Class of 2026 will be making an official visit to Chapel Hill beginning on Halloween.
2026 Top-30 overall recruit Maximo Adams (@MaximoAdams25) has scheduled official visits Kentucky, Michigan State, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas and Duke, he tells @Rivals.

Joe Tipton of On3 revealed that the 6-foot-7 forward has scheduled six official visits. His fifth stop on the tour will be to North Carolina, a trip that will take place from October 31-November 1.
Here's a full list of the scheduled visits in order:
- Kentucky: September 5–6
- Michigan State: September 11–12
- Kansas: September 19–21
- Texas: September 27–28
- North Carolina: October 31–November 1
- Duke: November 8–9
North Carolina recently joined the mix (which could be said of several programs that have shown interest), extending an offer Adams' way on July 23. In fact, Adams holds 19 Division I offers, 14 of which came to him during the month of July.
Talk about a major recruitment rise!
Adams' lone visit thus far has been to USC, which makes sense given that he is a Chatsworth, California native. Along with the Trojans and the six programs mentioned above, the rising senior has received offers from notable institutions such as Miami, Illinois, Purdue, Maryland, Michigan, Alabama, Houston, Syracuse, Washington, and Georgetown.
An athletic wing who features a ton of versatility, Adams began making a name for himself on the EYBL Circuit this summer. Peach Jam seemed to be a big turning point in Adams' recruitment, as his outstanding performance on the Nike EYBL's biggest stage proved that he is more than capable of competing with the nation's best talents. Once regarded as an under-the-radar prospect, Adams has positioned himself nicely to draw the attention of various Division I schools and is making the most of his recent exposure by taking visits to some of college basketball's top-tier programs.
The UNC basketball program is hoping that his official visit isn't frightening, and while they'll do their best to keep the ghosts and goblins away, you know the Tar Heels' coaching staff will pull out all the stops in order to try and convince him to call Chapel Hill his future home.
