There's recording your first collegiate interception, and then there's doing what Timir Hickman-Collins did on Saturday afternoon.
Hickman-Collins made sure his first career interception would be one to remember, taking a pass all the way to the end zone for a 62-yard pick-six during the first quarter of the Tar Heels' nonconference matchup against UConn.
With the Huskies facing fourth-and-three, quarterback Kalieb Osborne attempted to keep the drive alive through the air. Instead, Hickman-Collins intercepted the pass and raced downfield for the score.

Talk about making your first interception count!
For any defensive player, recording that first collegiate interception is a milestone. Turning it into six points makes the accomplishment even sweeter.
Hickman-Collins didn't just come away with the football. He delivered a momentum-changing play for a UNC team looking to return to the win column after a narrow loss to top-ranked Miami.
The touchdown was particularly important, considering UNC's offense had struggled to get anything going early in the contest.
Sometimes, a defense needs to provide the spark. Hickman-Collins did exactly that.
Hopefully, more interceptions are coming for Timir Hickman-Collins, but it's safe to say he'll never forget his first.
After all, there's no better way to introduce yourself to the interception column than with a trip to the end zone.
