Hold up, is this real?!

Yes, it most certainly is! Just wait until you see what UNC basketball commit Sayon Keita did in his first outing of the Euroleague NextGen Finals in Athens, Greece.

Sayon Keita fills up the stat sheet with incredible performance

The future Tar Heel led his team to victory, finishing the game with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 7 blocks and two assists. He knocked down six of his 9 shot attempts, as he was highly effective at both ends of the floor.

Oh, you're probably wondering how many minutes he played to achieve this type of stat line. You'll be shocked to hear that he needed less than 20 minutes of playing to do so!

Keita logged just 18 minutes, which adds another impressive layer to his already dominant performance. There's no doubt that everyone felt his presence on the court during the minutes he logged in his team's opening contest.

Michael Malone and UNC must be salivating after seeing that type of performance from Keita, a guy who is expected to be a heavy contributor from the minute he steps foot on campus in Chapel Hill. North Carolina needs him to do what he does best: make shots at an elite rate, alter (and block) shots in the paint, and serve as a physical presence on both ends of the floor.

Alexandros Samodurov has a no-brainer reason to play for UNC and Michael Malone

While he's still very much a raw talent and has tons of room to grow, the skillset and potential is simply off the charts. It's insane to think about how good Keita can be as he continues to refine his game, as he truly has the potential to be a lottery pick in the NBA Draft when his time comes to take his game to the next level.

For now, Tar Heel fans will watch Keita in action and dream of just how much of an impact player he can be for Michael Malone and the UNC basketball program moving forward. Seeing his film, you totally understand why Malone and his staff made an international trip to recruit him, as he might just be the biggest addition the new-look regime at North Carolina has made thus far during their early tenure.
