UNC Basketball Recruiting: Hubert Davis arrives at Peach Jam
The UNC basketball program's coaching staff is on the move!
First it was the Adidas 3SSB event in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Now, Hubert Davis and some of his staff have traveled to Peach Jam, which is held in North Augusta.
As competition is underway at this year's Peach Jam event, Davis has started taking a closer look at some of the UNC basketball program's top recruiting targets.
To start the festivities off, Davis was court side for the 12:00 PM game, one that featured Class of 2025 combo guard Acaden Lewis.

Lewis, a four-star combo guard, listed the UNC basketball program as one of his eight finalists just a few days prior. The Tar Heels seem to be very much in the mix for the Washington, DC native, even though their official offer to him came just over a month ago.

In Team Durant's first game of the 2024 EYBL Peach Jam event, Lewis showcased his ability to score from all three levels on the floor. He finished with 21 points, four rebounds and three assists, as he put together a strong showing in front of good amount of Power 5 head coaches.
Over the course of the Peach Jam event (which is now a two weekend event), the UNC basketball program will have their eye on plenty of recruiting targets that they have interest in. Lewis is certainly among those players, as it's starting to feel as if the Tar Heels are making him one of their priority targets in the Class of 2025.
