Tickets to see the UNC basketball program in the CBS Sports Classic are now on sale

Christmas comes early this year as Carolina takes on UCLA in the CBS Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden. The UNC basketball program will play in the marquee non-conference double-header of the season for a third straight year at the Mecca.
What better way to get in the holiday spirit than flying into LGA, JFK, or EWR to see North Carolina play in one of Hubert Davis's old haunts, the most famous arena in the world? If you were thinking about it, now's the time to act. Tickets are now on general sale.
North Carolina's games at Madison Square Garden have been top-tier. The Tar Heels could keep their heads held high last season when they lost a sporty game against eventual (and defending) national champions Connecticut 87-76.
In 2022, Pete Nance hit a turnaround jumper at the buzzer to force overtime against Ohio State in a thriller that Carolina eventually won 89-84. Armando Bacot would go down in UNC basketball history forever after this postgame interview:
"We just had to fight. ... At some point we have to draw the line and I feel like today we drew that line. ... I love this school. I love these fans. I love everything about it. I would die for this school."
