It's safe to say that Paul Finebaum doesn't like Bill Belichick.
The ESPN commentator, who makes his on-air time even more questionable every time he speaks, made an appearance on First Take on Tuesday and was part of a panel that discussed the following question:
Who are you more intrigued to see: Deion Sanders or Bill Belichick?
Just wait until you hear Finebaum's rant, one that just shows how petty of a man he is.
Paul Finebaum's hatred for Bill Belichick is evident by his latest on-air rant
"I'm not pulling for Bill Belichick. He's a grouch, he's a bully, and his career in college is about to go down in flames."
I don't know about you, but I'd LOVE to know what Belichick did to Finebaum that has him showing so much hate toward him!
Just listen to his entire rant, one that is worth the minute and 30 seconds of your life that you'll waste. While he's showing how he's a sour old man, Finebaum's comments will make you chuckle.

If Belichick is a "grouch and a bully," what does that make Finebaum? Quite frankly, they are very similar in nature, the only difference is that Finebaum has no problem showing his grumpiness through his on-air appearances, whereas Belichick doesn't want anything to do with the media.
Also, someone should really let Finebaum know that Steve Belichick, Bill's son and the defensive coordinator for the UNC football program, didn't "disappear from the program," but is dealing with an undisclosed medical issue.
Hey, Paul, did you ever think that Bill didn't want to discuss the matter, given that it is a family matter that you (and the rest of the world) have no business knowing about? Sorry he didn't tell you every detail of Steve's medical leave with you like you want him to!

Too bad Finebaum didn't run for Senate in 2025. While he 1000000% would've lost, because let's face it, who would vote for that grouchy old man, at least we would've gotten a little bit of a break from having to see him on ESPN.
It's one thing to not be fond of someone. We all have our differences, so no one is blaming him for disliking Belichick. However, his rant made him sound like a child, one that essentially went completely off the question that was posed.
No one asked for your rooting interest in this, they simply asked who you were more intrigued to see this upcoming season. Keep your personal hate and vendetta against Belichick to yourself.
While Finebaum continues his hate path toward Belichick, the head coach of the Tar Heels is simply focused on his team's trip to Ireland this weekend to take on TCU to open up the 2026 college football season. Without a doubt, Belichick could care less what Finebaum (or anyone else for that matter) have to say about him, as he's perfectly fine with being the villian to the media.
