It's safe to say that Armando Bacot took Shaq's advice to heart.

The former UNC basketball star put together an insane performance for the Memphis Hustle on Friday night. Bacot scored 34 points while recording a staggering 25 rebounds, a new franchise record. He also became the first player in Memphis Hustle history to record a 30-point, 20-rebound game.

Bacot's dominance helped the Hustle spark a late 27-2 run to capture a 115-109 victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Following his big-time performance, Bacot tweeted this simple line, proving that he's fully embracing everything Shaq said to him during their recent interview.

Armando Bacot is a man on a mission, as he continues to prove to the world that he belongs on an NBA roster. With teams looking to set their rosters for the final stretch of the season, there's simply only one question to ask:

Why in the world hasn't an NBA team, especially with so many needing big men depth, taken a chance on Armando Bacot yet?!

It's time for NBA executives to wake up and sign this man at least to a two-way contract. He continues to prove that he deserves a chance at playing at the sport's highest level. Until that opportunity comes, expect Bacot to continue ballin' the way he has essentially all season long.

"Mr. Nice Guy" has officially left the building. We're on the verge of seeing a whole new Armando Bacot, as the G-League should be aware that they have their hands full in terms of slowing the big man down moving forward.
