Shaquille O'Neal, one of the greatest centers to ever play the sport of basketball, believes that former UNC basketball star Armando Bacot belongs in the NBA.

While making an appearance on Shaq's podcast, The Big Podcast, Bacot had the opportunity to speak about his journey. He mentioned how reading Shaq's book at a young age motivated him to want to play the sport of basketball, as it was from that point on that Bacot knew he wanted to see what he could do on the court.

Shaq had some very high praise for the former Tar Heel, but also provided some very good advice for him as he continues his professional basketball career.

"I'm gonna give you some advice. You remind me of my son: well-spoken, good looking, beautiful individual. But you're too nice.

So after this weekend (NBA All-Star Weekend), when you get back, you kick A** and you f*****g take names.

No more Mr. Nice Guy.

You should use motivation that upsets you, but when you get upset, you use that being upset as fuel.

You're such a nice kid. You should have been drafted. But this is business. All the adults here know when it comes time to take care of business, we don't do nice things.

So that's my advice to you: no more being Mr. Nice Guy."

Shaq went on to mention how Bacot did things the "right way," going to school, staying out of trouble, etc. He also encouraged Bacot to "make them pay," citing those in the NBA who have overlooked him up to this point.

As Bacot heads back to continue his first season in the NBA G-League, expect him to use Shaq's advice to help him advance in his career. Who knows: maybe Shaq's words are enough to bring out another type of beast that we haven't yet seen from Armando Bacot.
