The UNC basketball program won an exciting exhibition game against the Memphis Tigers in their building last night. RJ Davis took the night off as a precaution after hurting his back in the Blue-White Scrimmage, so Seth Trimble took his spot in the starting line-up.

Talk about grabbing an opportunity with both hands!

Seth Trimble put on a show in front of former teammate and new Memphis Grizzly Armando Bacot to the tune of 33 points (8-8 free throws and 3-5 three-pointers!) in 33 minutes, both easily career highs. With that kind of production, you'd think Trimble would be the clear player of the game. Credit the tremendous game point guard Elliot Cadeau had for putting some doubt on that notion.

Let's look at some lessons learned from the exhibition game against Memphis.
