Guard RJ Davis has been ruled out for the UNC basketball program's exhibition game against Memphis. Davis suffered a back injury after a hard fall in the UNC program’s Blue vs. White scrimmage this past weekend, and his health is being monitored closely.

Davis seemed to have avoided a major injury as a result of the unfortunate fall, and was able to walk himself off the court. His possible return date is still unknown.

While he won’t be able to play tonight at FedEx Forum, the program is hopeful that he will be able to return for the season opener November 4.

Georgia Tech transfer Ty Claude, who the Tar Heels acquired this offseason, will also be out tonight for an unknown reason. It was also revealed that Elijah Davis will be redshirting this season and will not play this season.
