After putting together an incredible performance on the mound to save the UNC baseball program's season, Jason DeCaro knows that there's still plenty of work for his team to do.

Facing a winner-take-all game on Sunday afternoon, DeCaro's brilliance on the mound got them to this point. Although he most likely won't toe the rubber in this decisive Game 3, the ace of the Diamond Heels wants the fans to hear this simple message.

Jason DeCaro shares a message with Tar Heel faithful

After throwing 117 pitches in the scorching heat, DeCaro likely didn't have much energy left in the take shortly after the game concluded.

However, he did have enough juice to send this important message to Tar Heel nation regarding Sunday's pivotal Game 3.

"Let's be loud. Let's go!"

DeCaro fed off the energy at Boshamer Stadium on Saturday afternoon and knows how important it is to have that home-field advantage on display for the final home game of the 2026 season. North Carolina needs all the support it can get from the home crowd as they look to clinch a coveted trip to Omaha.

When Jason DeCaro speaks, we listen.

After a gutsy performance like the one he put together on Saturday, DeCaro's words are simply gospel at this point. Don't let No. 29 down- the Diamond Heels need the fan base not only to show up, but show out!

Be loud. Be proud. Set the tone!

So there's no confusion, Sunday's game will begin at approximately 3:00 PM EST. Whether you're watching from home or have a ticket to attend the game, make sure you're ready to go, bringing all the positive vibes as we root for the Diamond Heels.

No one wants this season to end, especially the guys in Carolina Blue who have worked tremendously hard to get to this point. Now just one win away from reaching a major goal set well before the season even started, the Diamond Heels have a chance to clinch that ticket to Omaha, but they definitely need the support of the passionate fanbase that continues to show up when the team needs them the most.

We're all in this together!
