Originally, the plan was to honor RJ Davis as part of a halftime ceremony on Monday night, one that would reveal his No. 4 jersey in the Dean Smith Center rafters.
Unfortunately, the weather has other plans..
RJ Davis halftime ceremony postponed
The UNC basketball program announced that the ceremony has been postponed due to weather. This decision comes with a major winter storm hitting the northeast over the next few days.

The good news is
If you're attending the game, you'll still get your first glimpse at Davis' honored jersey.
The program announced that the jersey has been raised to the rafters to take its rightful place among the other UNC legends. While the banner is already in its place, the program plans to still honor Davis, but that will now happen at a later date.
As for the game
The weather isn't expected to impact Monday night's contest between North Carolina and Louisville. A top-25 clash between the two ACC foes is still scheduled for 7:00 PM EST at the Dean Smith Center.
