When UNC decided to "part ways" with five-star Dylan Mingo, the expectation was that his next landing spot would pair him with his older brother.
Well, in the most least shocking development possible, the Mingo brothers are teaming up once again.
Dylan Mingo commits to Baylor
On Monday, Mingo announced his commitment to Scott Drew and Baylor. He follows his older brother, Kayden, who transferred from Penn State just a few weeks ago.

Baylor was heavily involved in Mingo's initial recruitment, one that ended with his pledge to Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels. Once Davis was relieved of his duties, all eyes were on the two five-star prospects he gained commitments from: Mingo and Maximo Adams, as Tar Heel fans were anxious to see how it would play out with both cases.
Adams' decision was easy, as his love for North Carolina (and his early impressions of Michael Malone) left him no doubt that he wanted to call Chapel Hill his home. Mingo, on the other hand, dragged it out (which, like his initial recruitment, was very similar in nature).
In fact, Mingo took a second official visit to campus to meet with Malone and the new-look staff, but left without giving any indication of what he was thinking about doing.
Just a few days later, it was reported that North Carolina, not Mingo, decided it was best to part ways.
Now, Mingo lands back on his feet, joining forces with his brother while serving as the blue chip high school prospect for Scott Drew to work with. While there's been plenty rumors, developments and speculation as to why it didn't work out for Mingo at North Carolina, the hope is that the decision works out for both sides.
Now, based on how we know the NCAA loves to secretly make tournament matchups happen, imagine if Baylor and North Carolina meet during March Madness, allowing Mingo the chance to take a crack at the program he initially pledged to.
Now THAT would be must-see television!
