If you're a high school recruit looking for a place to play college basketball, North Carolina is a very enticing destination to consider.
What Courtney Banghart and her staff have done since arriving on campus is incredible, to say the least. From elite recruiting to consistent improvement year in and year out, Banghart has developed a culture where not only her players continue to develop and win games, but also one where family is at the forefront of everything.
If you look at Banghart's recruiting resume, you'd be quite impressed at the talent she was able to bring to Chapel Hill. While the past success on the recruiting trail is very notable, Banghart and her staff are focused on the next wave of potential future Tar Heels, taking a major step toward potentially adding a commitment from a Class of 2027 standout that they seem to really like.

In order to earn a commitment from Williams, UNC will need to beat out Colorado, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska and Utah, her other finalists.
A Louisville, Colorado native, Williams is a 6-foor-3 forward who plays for Monarch High School. She is ranked as the No. 64 overall player in the Class of 2027 in SportsCenter Next 100 rankings.

Now, in many cases, information on high school student-athletes is difficult to come by. However, you can easily get a sense of why Banghart and the Tar Heels love Williams: she really deserves an A+ when it comes to marketing herself!
Williams has her own website that gives you legitimately every piece of information you need to know about her. She also posts regularly on her YouTube page, sharing highlights that show just what she can do on the basketball court.
The clip below is a taste of that, and we guarantee you'll love what you see!
Banghart and her staff love student-athletes who compete at a high level, but strive to recruit good people as well. It goes beyond the basketball court in Chapel Hill, as the goal is to bring in well-rounded individuals who can help continue building the culture that the coach staff strives for.
Based on everything we've learned about Williams, she is the absolute perfect fit at North Carolina.
Kayla McPherson’s coaching journey continues with an exciting new opportunity
Now, it may be difficult to get her to leave her home state, but expect Banghart and her staff to do everything they can to bring Sienna Williams to North Carolina. This is an impressive student-athlete who will undoubtedly make a huge mark on whichever program she ends up committing to when her recruitment comes to an end.
The hope is that her choice will be to wear Carolina Blue for her college basketball career.
