Given that he has an official visit scheduled to North Carolina from October 21-November 1, it isn't that much a surprise to see the UNC basketball program among the list of remaining candidates. Along with the Tar Heels, Adams is still considering the following programs:
Arizona State
Duke
Illinois
Kansas
Kentucky
Michigan State
Purdue
Texas
USC
Washington
The 6-foot-7 forward has rapidly risen up the recruiting rankings, earning his way toward his top-30 ranking among the Class of 2026 prospects. Along with the 11 teams remaining in his recruitment, Adams quickly picked up offers from a variety of schools, including (but not limited to): Miami, Maryland, Michigan, Seton Hall, Alabama, Nebraska, Houston, UNLV, Syracuse, and Georgetown.
A versatile, above-average defender, Adams has showcased the ability to guard multiple positions, an area that has certainly caught the attention of programs across the country. He's no slouch on the offensive end, as he's coming off an EYBL season in which he shot 52% from the field, 42% from three-point range to go along with 74% from the free-throw line.
A two-way player, Adams has the makings of being a mismatch for opposing teams wherever he chooses to attend college.
North Carolina hopes that Adams sees himself wearing Carolina Blue by this point next year, as the race is now on for the Chatsworth, California native.
