CJ Rosser is no stranger to Chapel Hill.
In fact, the No. 1-ranked prospect in the Class of 2027 has been on campus before, dating back a few months to the Hubert Davis era. Of course, we all know there's been a coaching change at North Carolina, but the mutual interest between Rosser and UNC remains strong regardless.
Wanting to learn more about Michael Malone and what UNC basketball will look like under his direction, Rosser decided to take another unofficial visit to Chapel Hill to get the information he seeks. That visit happened this weekend, as the Rocky Mount, North Carolina native shared some photos in a UNC basketball uniform that will have fans buzzing!

Rosser shared photos on his Instagram account wearing both sets of UNC basketball uniforms. To no surprise, it didn't take long for the post to explode, as fans, current Tar Heels, and other star recruits have been commenting about the photos.
Jamie Shaw shared some of the photos on X for those individuals who do not have an Instagram account, and, as you would expect, that post was buzzing as well!

The latest buzz surrounding Rosser's recruitment suggests that UNC has a strong chance of landing this top-tier talent. North Carolina has been heavily pursuing Rosser for quite some time and is doing whatever it can to keep this in-state talent home. Those efforts aren't going unnoticed, as the 6-foot-9 forward is showing just as much interest in the Tar Heels as his recruitment heats up.
In Rosser's case, North Carolina is an intriguing landing spot for multiple reasons.
For starters, look at what Caleb Wilson did last season, taking the college basketball world by storm to eventually become a top-five pick in the NBA Draft. Sure, the staff is different, but the program is still one of the most historic programs in all of college athletics.
Malone's entrance is also worth considering, as he comes to Chapel Hill with an impressive resume as an NBA head coach. Who better to develop under than Malone, who won an NBA title with the Denver Nuggets and has coached some tremendous players during his career, helping get the absolute most out of them on the court.
Rosser obviously has future plans to play in the NBA, and a pit stop in Chapel Hill could definitely help him achieve those goals.
Now, we can't speak for Rosser, but this fit seems to be absolutely perfect. The Tar Heels are going big-game hunting on the high school recruiting trail, going all-out to get the guys they covet, and Rosser is at the very top of that list.
The good news is that Rosser had the opportunity to visit campus once again, allowing him to get to know Malone and the new-look staff better. Hopefully, Rosser left Chapel Hill with the feeling that North Carolina might just be the best place for him to play out his college basketball career.
