The UNC basketball program will host a rather important guest for their final non-conference game of the 2025-2026 regular season on Monday night in Chapel Hill.
Travis Branham of 247Sports reported that CJ Rosser, one of the top recruits in the Class of 2027, will be taking an unofficial visit to North Carolina on Monday night to watch the Tar Heels take on East Carolina.

A big-time unofficial visit
Rosser, the No. 2 overall ranked player in the Class of 2027, has the makings of being a high-priority target for Hubert Davis and his staff.
A Rocky Mount, North Carolina native, Rosser already has a long line of suitors who are hoping to add them to their respective 2027 recruiting class. North Carolina is one of those suitors, as the hope is that they can bring him back to his home state for his college basketball career (given he's currently residing in Orlando, Florida).
How Caleb Wilson can help
Caleb Wilson has been one of the major storylines of the college basketball season, as he's been a dominant force in the front court for the UNC basketball program.
As a 6-foot-10, 195-pound power forward, Rosser possesses a similar skillset and frame that Wilson does. He very well could envision himself playing a similar role if he so chooses to follow Wilson's path to Chapel Hill, as the way the Tar Heels utilize Wilson should be enticing for any high school recruits who are looking for that same type of role.
One of a few
The UNC basketball program only has four scholarship offers on the table for the Class of 2027 (not including LJ Smith who has already committed to Ohio State). Rosser is one of two big-men that the Tar Heels have their eye on, both of whom share the same high school basketball court at Southeastern Prep.
Rosser should bring Obinna Ekezie Jr. along with him, as the duo, already competing together at the high school level, could end up being the next Henri Veesaar/Caleb Wilson pairing at North Carolina.
