If you're still down in the dumps over North Carolina's deflating loss to Clemson in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals, you're not alone. The Tar Heels looked downright atrocious against the Tigers for most of the game, with a spirited comeback falling just short.

Two shocking stats perfectly capture the inconsistency of the Hubert Davis era

Caleb Wilson has been out since the Miami game and he's now done for the year due to his broken thumb. Outside of some social media posts, no one had heard from Wilson after it was confirmed his incredible freshman campaign was over.

After the UNC loss to Clemson, though, Wilson spoke to the media briefly before things were ended early. Before that happened, the 5-star freshman didn't hold back in letting everyone know how he was feeling, understandably feeling rough for not being able to help out his team.

Caleb Wilson feels 'pretty bad' with his UNC season over and the Tar Heels struggling

With how much of a competitor Wilson is, you've got to know it's hurting him on the inside knowing that he can't help his teammates out. Not long ago, the Tar Heels were able to win five of six games without Wilson, but the last two contests have been brutal.

First, UNC suffered a blowout loss to Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium to close out the regular season. Then on Thursday night against Clemson, the Tigers looked like the better team and they were dominant throughout.

Down double digits for most of the second half, the Tar Heels indeed were able to claw their way back, but it was too little, too late. Wilson was on the bench for both losses and he of course would rather be suited up on the hardwood with his teammates instead.

Following that loss to Clemson, North Carolina must now wait for Selection Sunday to get here to find out when it will be playing next. After the last two performances, the expectations aren't very high for UNC in the Big Dance. That'd of course be different if Wilson was healthy, but he's not. You can't blame Wilson at all for feeling 'pretty bad' right now, as nothing is going right for the Heels.
