Was there ever a doubt?!

Following a dominant week on the court, former UNC basketball star Armando Bacot was named the NBA G-League Player of the Week.

Bacot's numbers over his three games for the Memphis Hustle this week are simply video game like. The former Tar Heel averaged 25.7 points and a staggering 17.0 rebounds per game, leading the Hustle to two victories over the three-game span.

His best outing came on Friday night, one that was a record-setting performance. Bacot scored 34 points while recording an insane 25 rebounds, a new franchise record. He also became the first player in Memphis Hustle history to record a 30-point, 20-rebound game.

Armando Bacot is a man on a mission. He continues to prove to the world that he belongs on an NBA roster. He has taken Shaq's advice to heart. He's no longer "Mr. Nice Guy," and he's making an incredibly strong push to find his way onto an NBA squad at some point in the near future.

It's time for NBA executives to wake up and sign this man at least to a two-way contract. He continues to prove that he deserves a chance at playing at the sport's highest level. Until that opportunity comes, expect Bacot to continue ballin' the way he has essentially all season long.
