On Friday, Class of 2025 five-star forward Caleb Wilson revealed his three finalists along with the date in which he will be committing.

Less than a week away from the decision, it's been pinpointed as a two-team race between Kentucky and North Carolina. However, as some believe that Wilson is trending toward the Wildcats, this notable national basketball analyst believes otherwise.

Travis Branham of 247Sports posted a Crystal Ball prediction in favor of the UNC basketball program on Saturday morning. The prediction is listed as a seven, which is considered a high-confidence prediction.

In case you're still skeptical, it's important to note that Branham has been perfect with his predictions for the Class of 2025, correctly predicting each of the 20 that he has gotten involved with.

While we'll all wait until the official announcement on Thursday, this is definitely a good sign for Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels.

North Carolina needs Caleb Wilson, as he would erase the talk about the Tar Heels struggling on the recruiting trail with this respective graduating class. With Derek Dixon and Isaiah Denis, both of whom are guards, committed, Wilson would be the blue-chip prospect that this recruiting class needs, especially because he is a forward with size and a tremendous amount of upside.

When he announced his list of finalists and commitment date on the 247Sports College Basketball Show, Wilson spoke highly of the Tar Heels, citing a current player who he seems to really want to play with:

"Coach Davis is a great guy on and off the court also. North Carolina is a prestigious university. They have a great team and I feel like I can go to that team, step up and become the man at North Carolina. I definitely feel like it'd be a great opportunity. With possibly Elliot Cadeau returning, that'd be a great guard to play with."

Now, we all wait for the actual decision, as this announcement will be a major one for Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program.
