On the surface, it seems like things have been a little quiet of late for UNC and Michael Malone. However, don't forget that Isaiah Denis will be back next season, which is an offseason win fans can't sleep on. With that said, more work needs to be done and fast for the Tar Heels.

As of this writing, there are several unknowns for Malone and his staff, which out of nowhere no longer includes former Providence head coach Kim English. Despite English having a change of heart, something tells us big news one way or the other will be coming sooner rather than later, with Malone undoubtedly hoping for some clarity when it comes to the following three topics of conversation that the UNC faithful have been quite focused on.

3. Is Henri Veesaar going to return or leave for the NBA?

To start us off, everyone is on Henri Veesaar watch. Soon enough, the talented big man is going to have to decide whether or not he's going to return for one more season with the Tar Heels or make the leap to the NBA. This is a call that has him torn.

However, we think this is an easy one - let us explain why. Most recent mock drafts have Veesaar falling to the middle of the second round. If that happens, he could return to UNC on a nice NIL deal, help the Heels get back on the right track and boost his draft stock. It feels like it'd be a win-win for everyone involved.

2. Will North Carolina remain in the hunt to land touted transfer Juke Harris?

In terms of the transfer portal wishlist, fans have been dreaming of Juke Harris staying home in North Carolina to suit up for Malone and the Tar Heels. Things remain a bit unknown there, as the Wake Forest transfer reportedly continues to look at UNC, Michigan and Tennessee.

At first, Michigan was the overwhelming favorite to sign Harris, but then UNC made a serious push. Since then, Rick Barnes and Tennessee have also upped their efforts, throwing everything into a loop. Landing Harris sure would be sweet, but it's unknown just how great of a chance Malone has in winning this recruiting battle.

1. Is Terrence Brown going to commit to North Carolina in the near future?

Last but not least, we continue to be on commit watch when it comes to Utah transfer guard Terrence Brown. The playmaker has put his recruitment on hold a bit, as his aunt unfortunately passed away late last week. Brown has been devastated by the news and understandably so.

He took visits to North Carolina and Kansas, while a trip to Kentucky could still end up happening. Brown continues to grieve from this loss and it's unknown exactly when he's going to commit to his program of choice. No one is going to rush him of course, but North Carolina remains a finalist to potentially get him on board.
