Here is our tracker to provide you with all the latest transfer portal/NFL Draft updates regarding the 2023 UNC football program.

It’s free agency, I mean… transfer portal time, as the UNC football program is expected to lose a few players to both the portal and the NFL Draft.

The Keeping It Heel team will provide you with all the latest news and updates regarding all the player movement not only over the next couple of weeks but throughout the offseason as well.

Below is all the latest updates:

Entering Transfer Portal

Kamari Morales (graduate transfer)

Heading into the 2023 season, Morales was expected to be a big part of the UNC football program’s passing game. Coming off a 2022 season in which he hauled in 29 passes for 358 yards and four touchdowns, many believed that Morales would put up similar (or even better numbers).

However, that wasn’t the case, as he was limited to just 11 catches for 158 yards over 12 games played, mostly being utilized as a blocking tight end.

A lot of Morales’ lack of targets had to do with the emergence of both Bryson Nesbit and John Copenhaver, as both tight ends seemed to jump the veteran on the depth chart. Nonetheless, Morales put together a productive career in Chapel Hill, as the hope is that he can find a new home where he will be utilized more within that team’s respective offense.

Kedrick Bingley-Jones

Bingley-Jones appeared in four games for the Tar Heels this past season, recording two total tackles. In his first two seasons with the program, Bingley-Jones tallied 22 appearances, earning six total tackles.

Jefferson Boaz

A backup quarterback who made two career appearances for North Carolina since joining the program in 2020.

Elijah Green

Green was the UNC football program’s leading rusher a season ago but slipped down the depth chart this past season due to the emergence of Omarion Hampton and the return of British Brooks.
