The pre-draft workouts continue to roll in for UNC basketball standout Leaky Black, as he is working out for an Eastern Conference playoff contender.

Leaky Black has been very busy as the NBA Draft quickly approaches.

The former UNC basketball standout recently worked out with the Golden State Warriors and was invited to participate in the upcoming NBA G League Combine.

Before he heads to Chicago for the combine, the defensive wizard made a pit stop to visit an Eastern Conference playoff contender.

Black is currently in Boston working out for the Celtics. The image above, which was featured on his Instagram story, provided the latest pre-draft update for the Concord, North Carolina native.

So far, we know of two workouts, both of which were for teams that are still currently in the NBA playoff mix. It shouldn’t be a surprise that winning organizations are taking a closer look at Black, given that he has the ability to make winning plays and impact the game in many different areas.

His size and defensive ability are noteworthy, as he developed into a lockdown defender during his time in Chapel Hill. Although defense is his best ability, Black is a player that can knock down shots while helping facilitate on the offensive side of the floor.

These opportunities are great for Black as he looks to earn a home with an NBA team for the 2023-2024 season. With the NBA G League Combine scheduled for May 13-14, we’ll have to wait and see if more individual workouts are scheduled prior to June 22, the day that the draft begins.
