Former UNC basketball standout Leaky Black will have the opportunity to showcase his skills in front of NBA scouts at the G League combine.

UNC basketball alum Leaky Black is a very interesting prospect that should draw plenty of attention from professional teams.

Earlier in the week, it was leaked that Black was working out for the Golden State Warriors as part of a pre-draft workout session. Now, it’s been made known that the former Tar Heel has been invited to the upcoming G League Combine.

The NBA G League Combine will be held on May 13-14 in Chicago. This event gives draft prospects an opportunity to display their skills in front of NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches, and front-office executives.

As part of the process, participants compete in five-on-five games while also doing some strength and agility drills.

Last year, Brady Manek participated in the event, as Black will follow in his former teammate’s footsteps. This will be a great opportunity for Black to showcase his skills as the NBA Draft approaches.

The Concord, North Carolina native is a very intriguing prospect, given his size and defensive ability. He also improved as a shooter during his time in Chapel Hill, and he has the potential to keep improving even more at the next level.

Black played a big role for the UNC basketball program during his five years on campus, as he did whatever the team needed him to do in order to be successful. He’ll look to show scouts that he can bring a lot to the table in hopes of securing a spot on an NBA or G League roster for the upcoming season.
