UNC Football: Khalil Conley commits to North Carolina
The UNC football program has added yet another Class of 2024 commitment, as athlete Khalil Conley has announced his commitment to North Carolina.
There’s just something about visits to Chapel Hill that makes the difference in recruiting!
Earlier on Monday, Davion Gause committed to the UNC football program, not even a full day after his first visit to campus concluded.
Now, three-star athlete Khalil Conley is following the same trend.
On social media, Conley announced that he will be committing to the UNC football program. Similar to Gause, Conley’s announcement comes less than 24 hours after he left Chapel Hill.
Over the last few weeks, the Tar Heels seemed to be picking up momentum in Conley’s recruitment. After making his third visit to the campus over the weekend, Conley decided that North Carolina was the right place for him.
Listed as a three-star athlete by Rivals, Conley is a playmaker that impacts the game on both sides of the football. On offense, the 6-foot, 170-pound junior hauls in passes at wide receiver, and plays both corner and safety on the defensive side of the ball.
The in-state product saw a bunch of interest from other North Carolina-based schools, such as Duke, NC State, and UNC Charlotte among others. Ultimately, the Arden, North Carolina native chose the UNC football program as his destination, as the Tar Heels will add another playmaker to a developing recruiting class.
