Now that his decision to return to the UNC basketball program is set in stone, Bacot is looking to help Hubert Davis bring in another top recruit into the mix.

On social media, Bacot reached out to G.G. Jackson, one of the top overall prospects in the Class of 2023. In the most recent information on Jackson’s recruitment, it is believed that the Tar Heels are the frontrunner to land the very talented big man.

Jackson’s recruitment seems to be winding down, as he said that he was anticipating making a final decision after the NCAA Tournament concluded. Now that the dust has settled, an announcement from Jackson could possibly come in the near future.

If you’re looking further into Bacot’s tweet to Jackson, the five-star prospect did, in fact, “like” the tweet. Is that a sign that Jackson is leaning toward North Carolina, or is he just respecting Bacot showing love by trying to get him to commit to the UNC basketball program?

Either way, the Tar Heels seem to be in a good position to land Jackson, and Bacot’s assistance will only help their cause.

Needless to say, once his playing days are over, the University of North Carolina should bring in Bacot as a recruiter for the entire school. His love for the university is evident, and it’s certain that high school recruits would feed off his passion and see that Chapel Hill is the right place for them, just like it was for Bacot.
