UNC Basketball Recruiting: Seth Trimble nearly records triple-double in victory
The UNC basketball commit put together another strong performance to lead his high school team to victory.
Seth Trimble is making the most of his senior season on the basketball court.
The UNC basketball commit has made some impressive headlines of late. Recently, Trimble set the Menomonee Falls record for most points in program history with 1,752 points, passing the previous mark of 1,737 set by his brother, former Tar Heel J.P. Tokoto.
With the school record now out of the way, Trimble has continued his success, proving that he’s much more than just a scoring guard.
In his most recent outing, Trimble nearly notched a triple-double en route to a Menomonee Falls victory. Overall, the future Tar Heel scored 25 points while pulling down 13 rebounds and dishing out eight assists.
With the way Trimble has been playing, it’s very possible that he will move up the recruiting rankings this spring. Currently, the 247Sports Composite has Trimble as the 32nd-ranked player in his class while also viewing him as the top recruit coming out of the state of Wisconsin.
As he’s just a few months from arriving in Chapel Hill, Trimble is starting to create excitement for Tar Heel fans to see him play at the Dean Smith Center. Regarded as the Tar Heels’ top incoming recruit, Trimble is a player who could see immediate action based on what next year’s roster looks like.
The Tar Heels could use another guard, especially one who has the ability to not only score but facilitate the basketball as well. Of course, high school basketball is a lot different than the college game, but given his skill set, some of his best abilities will likely translate to success at the next level.
