Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program are looking to finish the final month of the season strong here as we enter February but it’s never too early to look at the future of the program, either.

The Tar Heels have a four-man class for the 2022 cycle and barring any surprises, they will welcome them on campus later this year. And while that’s still a few months away, a few of those recruits are making a good impression in their final seasons of high school basketball.

Four-star guard Seth Trimble is North Carolina’s highest-ranked recruit right now and does have the chance to move up even more when the rankings are final in the Spring. In his final season at Menomonee Falls in Wisconsin, Trimble is showing why he should be considered one of the elite guards in the country.

On Tuesday night, Trimble continued his impressive season and set a new record for his high school program along the way. In a win over West Alis Hale, Trimble scored 25 points and along the way set the Menomonee Falls record for most points in program history with 1,752 points passing the previous mark of 1,737.

But here’s the interesting part.

He broke his brother and former Tar Heel forward J.P. Tokoto’s record at the high school, an awesome moment for the family:

Trimble has been fantastic in his senior season, filling up the stat sheet and helping Menomonee Falls get some key wins along the way.

As it stands right now, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound Trimble is ranked No. 32 overall, No. 6 point guard and the No. 1 player in the state of Wisconsin per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
