The UNC Basketball program will welcome in three recruits to Chapel Hill for official visits in June as recruiting starts to ramp up.

Hubert Davis and his staff will host De’Ante Green, Isaac Traudt and Justin Taylor during the month of June. All three are big recruiting targets in the 2022 recruiting class, one where the Tar Heels do not have a commitment signed just yet. But that could change this Summer and if the Tar Heels are able to do enough to impress some of these recruits and land a commitment.

But before one of those targets visits, he’s drawing interest from another program in his recruitment.

Per Jake Weingartern, four-star forward Justin Taylor has now received an offer from UCONN in his recruitment over the weekend:

The 6-foot-6-inch, 200-pound small forward is a Charlottesville, Virginia product that has a total of 15 offers in his recruitment. Taylor is ranked No. 87 overall, No.  21 small forward and the No. 5 player in the state of Virginia per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.

As of now, there’s no program considered a favorite for Taylor as he doesn’t have a crystal ball prediction listed just yet which tells us his recruitment appears to be wide open.

In addition to visiting North Carolina (June 5-6), Taylor will be visiting Virginia Tech (June 3) and then Syracuse (June 9-10). A team to watch in the recruitment is Indiana as Taylor recently talked to the Hoosiers via a Zoom meeting. It wouldn’t shock us if UConn does make some noise in this recruitment and get a visit or at least a Zoom visit.

This will certainly be a recruitment to watch moving forward from a UNC standpoint as they do need some help on the wing and Taylor could provide that.

Next. This UNC Basketball target is set to visit Tennessee. dark
