This is the second time this season that the senior won the award, as he also took home the honors after the Tar Heels’ Week 1 victory over Syracuse. Overall, this is the third time that Surratt has earned the linebacker of the week honor.
On a weekly basis, Chazz Surratt continues to be a major force on the Tar Heels defense. The senior linebacker continues to prove why he should be considered as a first-round level talent in this year’s NFL Draft class.
Surratt and the UNC Football program will look to continue their success this week, as they travel to Virginia for a Halloween matchup against the Cavaliers.
