UNC celebrates their big Final Four win with another locker room celebration

The North Carolina Tar Heels are headed back to the national championship game.

UNC held off a late run by the Oregon Ducks in the Final Four to survive and advance once again.

It wasn’t easy.

The Tar Heels had to rely on two key offensive rebounds off a pair of missed free throws to hold on and win. It created some dramatic and tense moments.

More from UNC Basketball

A big key in UNC’s win was senior center Kennedy Meeks’ performance as he finished the game with 25 points and 14 rebounds, just dominating the paint for the Tar Heels.

It was the best performance in Meeks’ UNC career and will be one of the most memorable performances in school history.

Following the win, the Tar Heels kept their tradition of celebrating in the locker room by counting down the number of teams left in the tournament.

It also included head coach Roy Williams jumping up and down to get the team all pumped up after the big night.

Watch as an excited UNC locker room celebrates:

Now that there is two teams left, it all comes down to Monday.

The Tar Heels are looking to finish something they left on the court last April, after losing on a buzzer beater to the Villanova Wildcats.

It won’t be easy.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs enter the game with just one loss on the season and have played very well in the NCAA Tournament. UNC will need to play a lot better and receive contributions from all around, not just Meeks.
