Some of the UNC basketball program’s recruiting targets will be in Chapel Hill on Saturday for unofficial visits to the campus.

While the UNC football program takes on non-conference foe Minnesota in Chapel Hill, the UNC basketball program will be looking to impress some of its recruiting targets.

Three of the program’s top targets will be on campus for unofficial visits on Saturday, one from the Class of 2025 while the other two are members of the Class of 2026.

Class of 2025 standout Jackson Keith will be taking the short trip from his hometown Durham for his visit. The four-star prospect, ranked as the third-best player from the state of North Carolina (according to 247Sports Composite) still does not have an offer from the UNC basketball program, but that is something that may change very soon.

Four-stars Latrell Allmond and Coleman Cloer will also be on campus. Allmond, a Richmond, Virginia native, ranks as the No. 3 overall player from his home state, while Cloer, a North Carolina native, is currently regarded as the top player from his home state within the class.

It’s a good sign to see these prospects showing interest in the University of North Carolina, especially the UNC basketball program, as it ultimately may help them down the road if the Tar Heels make them priorities on the recruiting trail.
