Which team is now considered the favorites to win the 2017 National Championship in Phoenix? Vegas just released the latest odds.

Going into the 2017 NCAA Tournament, the North Carolina Tar Heels were among the favorites to win it all.

UNC was joined by their Atlantic Coast Conference rival Duke as the favorites to cut down the nets in Phoenix. But after the first two rounds, some things have changed.

The Blue Devils were ousted by South Carolina on Sunday, ending their season. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels struggled to get by Arkansas as they are the only ACC team left in the Sweet 16 round.

With play beginning again on Thursday, Vegas has released the latest odds for the favorites in the tournament.

The Kansas Jayhawks currently sit atop the list with 19/4 odds after two double-digit victories to open up the tournament.

Their competition gets a little tougher however as they will play No. 4 seed Purdue on Thursday night in Kansas City.

Not far behind are the Tar Heels who sit at 5/1 to win it all in April.  The Tar Heels path to the Final Four is tough as they have to go through No. 4 seed Butler and if they win that game play No. 2 Kentucky or No. 3 UCLA.

Here is the full list of odds via MLive:

  • Kansas 19/4
  • North Carolina 5/1
  • Arizona 13/2
